A colonial hacienda with beautiful grounds and full of art
This museum is in the south of Mexico City housed in a mansion set in lovely grounds, once the home of Mexican businesswoman and art collector Dolores Olmedo. Not only is it brimming with pre-Hispanic, colonial, folk, modern and contemporary art, but dozens of peacocks roam the grounds and Mexican Hairless Dogs, deemed sacred by the Aztecs, are kept here.
