An eccentric museum of old toys... and urban art
This museum is one-of-a kind and has been set up by Japanese-Mexican Roberto Y. Shimizu, who has collected hundreds of thousands of old toys over the years and created this place. What makes it so unusual is that all the items are crammed into a four-story building (where he grew up) and visitors wander through the maze of rooms and up staircases full of urban art. Everything looks like it's been chaotically thrown in the rooms but he's done that on purpose. Don't expect a nice smart museum with information panels. And then when visitors get to the rooftop, there's another surprise... it's covered with urban art and looks out over the city. It's a fun place to visit.
