World Heritage site with murals
UNAM is Mexico's largest autonomous university and in order to bring together all the campuses, the Ciudad Universitaria was built in the south of the city on the site of a volcanic lava flow. It's most famous landmark is the Central Library, a cube-like building entirely covered in murals. Elsewhere on the campus are more murals and a bit further away is the Espacio Escultorico, a sculpture garden.
