All-out devotion
The Basilica de Guadalupe, the second most visited Catholic shrine in the world, stands on the Cerro de Tepeyac in the north of Mexico City. Its extensive grounds house the Old and New Basilicas, other chapels, gardens, waterfalls and a massive square where pilgrims come and perform their local dances to thank the Virgen de Guadalupe for her favours.
