A well-kept secret
Hidden between San Angel and Coyoacán, this small barrio has a rich colonial past reflected in its cobbled streets and mansions as well as stone bridges once spanning the rivers Magdalena and El Chico that flowed through here. This land was once part of the El Carmen Monastery, with extensive orchards by the rivers. Some of the interesting places to photograph are the Jardin de la Bombilla and the beautiful Plaza Federico Gamboa with its small chapel of San Sebastian Martir.
