Colourful Mexico City
Coyoacán, once a Colonial town outside of Mexico City, has now been swallowed up by the metropolis but still retains the feel of a small colourful town. Its central squares, market and restaurants are popular places with both Mexico City residents and tourists. You can pay a visit to the Museo de Culturas Populares and then make your way down to the market to sample the famous tostadas. The Casa Azul, Frida Kahlo's house and museum, is one of the most well-known sites in Coyocán.
