Where scribes once sat under the arches
Plaza de Santo Domingo, full of historical significance, is surrounded by interesting buildings, one of which houses Diego Rivera's early murals. In former times, scribes sat under the arches of the Portales and wrote letters for people. Today you can still see manual typewriters being used.
